A medical initiative led by Prof. Dana Wolf of the Faculty of Medicine won first place in the Reboot Forum’s “Leading Health Initiative” competition. The tool developed by Prof. Wolf makes it possible to predict the severity of harm to fetuses infected with the CMV virus by analyzing biomarkers in the amniotic fluid. The technology is designed to help parents and doctors make more informed decisions and to support more individualized treatment during pregnancy.
