Wishing our community a healthy, peaceful, and successful New Year.
Dear Members of the Lautenberg Center,
As we begin a new year, I would like to wish each and every one of you and your families a Shana Tova, a happy, healthy, peaceful, and successful New Year.
Looking back at the past year, I feel extremely proud of what we have accomplished together. It has been a remarkable year of scientific discovery, creativity, and progress across the Center. Our research continues to span an extraordinary range of fields from immunology, cancer, and infection to genomics, metabolism, neurobiology, and tissue biology and, importantly, several of our discoveries are increasingly moving from the laboratory toward clinical application.
But the Lautenberg Center is much more than its publications, grants, discoveries, and clinical achievements. The real strength of our Center is its people. Our students, postdocs, research associates, technicians, administrative staff, and PIs create a unique environment in which ideas are shared, collaborations grow, young scientists develop, and ambitious science becomes possible. I want to thank all of you for your hard work, creativity, dedication, friendship, and commitment to the Center and to one another.
Above all, I hope that the coming year will bring us peace and better days. May it bring good health and happiness to you and your families, exciting discoveries to our laboratories, and success to our students and young investigators.
I look forward to another year of discovery, collaboration, friendship, and shared success.
Shana Tova U’Metuka to you and your families,
Ofer
