The Lautenberg Center for Immunology and Cancer Research extends its warm congratulations to Prof. Rami Aqeilan and Prof. Michael Berger on the publication of their latest review article, titled “Causes and Consequences of T Cell DNA Damage,” now available in Trends in Immunology.
This important work highlights the unique vulnerability of T cells to genomic instability and explores its implications for immune dysfunction, autoimmunity, malignancy, and aging. The article also presents exciting perspectives on how targeting DNA repair pathways may bolster T cell function and therapeutic efficacy.
